Diesel Dudes full delete bundle on a 2012 LML. Quality parts and all as described.

EFI Live and delete pipe installation was pretty straightforward, but the EGR delete was a challenge. The PDF instructions have really tiny pictures that don't show some of the key difficult parts. DieselDudes sent me links to some install videos, but the Dark Iron Diesel video completely glosses over the very hardest part which is removing the heat exchanger. There's a video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVI4uZMMuEA shows this step in detail - and tips on how to get at the fasteners that seem impossible to reach. If you don't have good tools and some experience working in tight spaces, get some help with the EGR.

On the DSP-5 install, they really should include a picture of the ECM plug showing where the pins are located. Once again there are some videos out there that show this pretty well, like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vys07P0gMbs&t=673s. Also you can download the PDF directions for a DSP5 from GDP tunes that has this picture.

2012 Duramax

The process to install and delete EGR and DAF were not easy and should not be attempted by a non-wrench turner. The results are what is expected, more HP, more exhaust noise, no DEF!

I bought my truck already deleted, and there was evidence the previous owner had a tuner but the controller was gone. I was worried about getting a new one and it not working, but the H & S Mini Max did override the tune that was in it previously (which it said it would) and I have never been happier! My truck is a BEAST now, and it’s never ran better!! I love Diesel Dudes!

Just Do It Already

I was a little skeptical at first because I could not find much on these guys; address, physical building, etc. nothing on Google or Google maps and the kit was $1,750.00! But I kept reading about them on OTHER delete forums and websites recommending their kits. Hummm... I emailed them about my concerns. The owners contacted me by phone less than an hour later and answered all my questions. WHAT??? YES! All I can say is they are the real deal! They know diesels. I bought the full delete kit. The kit has everything. Professionally machined parts. Great installation videos. Straightforward delete. My truck took the tune on the first try with no issues. The rest was cake. On the highway I am getting 5mpg more. 26 mpg on the last 5 hour highway trip. In town: 2-3 mpg more. Truck runs really smooth and the transmission shifts a little tighter. AND...I am probably running around 200# lighter? I put a muffler on to quiet it down a little. No noticeable smoke. Overall I am thrilled with the $$ I spent with Diesel Dudes. Thank you guys. Now...Where can I get a Diesel Dudes T-shirt to wear around???

Had a great time working on our 2012 Duramax delete. My son and I work on a lot of different things. This was our first diesel project. Turned out great and only took us 12 hours total.

2015 gmc 2500 hd

Kit arrived and quality seemed to be high. Egr delete didn’t have instructions but i emailed and quickly got a response with the needed information. Great to be able and call to talk to someone that is knowledgeable. Jake answered all the questions i had before purchase. Just finished loading tunes yesterday and everything seems fine at this point but just took on short drive. Very happy so far and already recommended to a friend.

Delete 2017 dodge 3500 6.7 Cummins

I recently deleted my dpf/ cat/ egr on my 2017 6.7 Cummins, I couldn’t be happier!! The throttle response and power difference is incredible, not to mention saving over 500 bucks per year on def and diesel fuel. The installation was fairly simple if you know your way around the truck. The hardest part was crawling around on the ground prying on the rubber mounts for the exhaust. Once you get that heavy crap out of there, the straight pipe went smoothly. The egr removal was a little tough, but with the help from my grandson, it was a piece of cake!! I installed the tuner first thing to make sure there was no error codes, then proceeded with the.exhaust, then egr. It took me about 7 hours, to do everything As for the customer service, Jake and Sam, are unmatched for being thorough and taking care of answering any questions you have about deleting your truck. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else in the future. What else can I say, the diesel dudes are awesome!! Even during the holidays my delete bundle arrived in about 1 week. Thanks again diesel dudes for a incredible experience!!

Could be better

Wish I could shift on the fly, buddies said it will, it won't. Like being able to see pyro temp. No exhaust bracket's lined up. Redoing those tomorrow. Almost done with install. Guess I'll see how it runs soon. Put tow tune in it. Had lot's of help to install!!!!! Several people that had already done it!!!! Not simple.

Awesome Customer Service

These guys got me my tune linked to my EZ Lynk much faster than I was expecting after I read on forums that some distributors take up to a week! They were recommended on the forums to be quick with service. They also offer Sezzle as a payment options as I broke down across the country from home and was worried about spending 849 dollars after spending the money to do the delete and hotels! Word of advice to others, do the delete prior, it would have cost me less than 1800 to delete it prior to my break down due to the DEF / Emissions system failing, I waited thinking it wasn’t going to happen to me. With tow bills to a hotel. The stay in The hotel, lost money (hotshot) from being broke down, eating out. I lost over 4800 dollars due to this. So I was at 6600 dollars lost/spent this week! I coulda purchased these parts and done this in advance and been 4800 ahead. Use me as the example why to purchase from this company now!

Not fully compatible

On 2013 and above, The MiniMax v2 only allows a single tune, the one that came with it. The are no other “tunes” available since the MiniMax company is out of business. No updates will be available. I’d buy a different tuner, but they are almost $900.00 - disappointed to say the least !

Tuner works great. Instructions could be more detailed, but really it's such an easy process they suffice. Customer service replies quick because I had a question. Tuner is small which has its pros and cons, hard for me to read the screen.

Obviously installing the EGR delete will be different for each person. Some will make it easy some will make it difficult. The Parts that came in the packaging were in great shape and made the install easy. Definitely would recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

Tune install is easy but get some help with pipe & egr

The EGR pieces are hard to figure out if you don't know what to do, the video they sent me helped but I still kinda got confused. Ended up hiring a guy to install the EGR delete but the pipe and tune I did myself. Happy overall, truck runs with no issues a month out. 2015 Chevy

Great kit

Kit install is simple if you know your way around your truck. I got one of my boys to give me a hand. Tune install is fine once you figure out figure out what button to press. They sent instructions and I was able to get it working with my old age ahah!

Not bad

The product came a little late, even though I paid extra, and was not an exact fit for my 2019 Ram 3500. The mechanic had to cut off six inches in the middle and weld the pieces together and flare out one end of the exhaust pipe to resolve another issue. However, once that was done, my truck is running well and I am happy with the finished product. The price I paid for everything was a little much given the issues I experienced, but I am satisfied with what I have.

Life Saver

Changed alternator on my truck and it re-set my theft deterrent system. Took to dealer and only thing they could do is flash my deleted truck back to stock and we couldn't have that so i purchased the EFi live tuner and saved the day!!!!!!!

2012 F-350 Cab and Chassis

I ordered this kit with the intention to install it myself, my only real complaint is a lack of paper instructions left me figuring it out and piecing it together from several different YouTube video's, however I eventually did, just beware the oem EGR bolts, they break easily and if you don't have the skill and patience to correct that, you'll be in for it. The reason their kit is "not compatible" on the cab and chassis is simply because the exhaust pipe is approximately 2" short, and the exhaust hanger is set too far back. with the use of some 4" stainless pipe and by carefully cutting and rewelding the existing hanger, you can make everything fit up with a few hours of extra work.

Wear you glasses when ordering

The section said in big bold letters 2011-2019 6.7L Ford so without my eyeglasses on I ordered for my 2016 6.7L. In smaller and not bold lettering 2011-12. It’s enough of a difference not to work. We are currently working with customer service to resolve the issue.

Tune works great!

2018 crew cab with auto tranny. Very happy with the tranny tune, shifts are smooth. I went with the simple base package and run the truck on the lowest power setting. Still playing around with what gauges to display on the mini maxx, but overall it's a really useful device. I also run bigger tires than stock and it was nice to be able to calibrate the speedometer with the tuner. The egr delete kit well machined, the pieces are high quality metal/plastic and nothing is done cheap. I was worried about the exhaust fitting the crew cab, but they told me it's designed to fit all the trims and they were right, bolted on and fit without problems.

We installed the whole kit in one afternoon, couple parts are a headache, but mainly cause I was dealing with seized bolts cause of some rust, but we figured it out. Base package 2013 2500HD
