2022 Ram 3500 SRW is alive!

2022 Ram 3500 SRW. From order date to install, Diesel Dudes rocked. Shipped and received the kit within 6 days. Followed Dark Iron Diesel’s install video and 8 hours later had a new truck. I had the same issues as in the install video. The bracket for the EGR kit was bent and I had the 14101 code. Emailed Tyson at Diesel Dudes and heard back within a few hours. Great customer support. Pricey kit, but worth it. Do yourself a favor, start at the crack of dawn, make sure your battery terminals are tight, and that you have a charger on during the ECM flash. The tuner is very sensitive to voltage. Ended up being a 2 hour delay because I didn’t secure one of the terminals. Also, take the driver’s side front tire off, pull the wheel liner and take the ECM out from that location. Much easier method than from the top. Overall, extremely satisfied with the Diesel Dudes kit, customer support and final product.

2017 GMC Sierra 2500HD L5P Delete and Tune

I ordered the complete delete and tune kit with a 5” exhaust and the aftermarket down-pipe for my 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 HD and I could not be happier with how it turned out. There was a hiccup with my tuner credits when I went to put in the tune but that was resolved without incident and John was a tremendous help with customer service. I neglected him for weeks, forgetting to get back with him on how everything went but he kept reaching out until I finally remembered to respond to him. Overall, fantastic product, fantastic service, and this L5P can finally breathe and lay it down.

Just buy it.... you won't be sorry. I just did a full delete on my 21 ram 2500 after driving it 50000 miles with all the EPA garbage on it. What a difference it has made!! Pulls ALOT harder (80hp tune) and gets way better fuel mileage while doing it. The best part is... NO MORE REGENS!!
Shipping was fast. Took about a week after I ordered it to get all 3 shipments. And everything fit perfectly. The runes are spot on with no issues loading or running them. And the trans to for the 68RFE made a huge difference. No more lazy shifts. When it does it now, it means business!!

Purchased a delete kit and EZLYNK 3 tune ram 3500

Purchased a delete kit and EZLYNK 3 tune for my ram 3500. I did not install the kid myself, but the technician said it was one of the better kits to install. He had no issues. It was his first time installing that software.
When I got the truck handed back, he did not give me driving instructions and I do not think he did a transmission relearn. Anyway drove the truck 500 miles through the mountains of Maine not towing with the exhaust brake on which you are not supposed to do. I was not given the driving instructions when I picked up the truck had an engine light come on with a solenoid 2 circuit and low line pressure low. Dropped in 4th gear. pulled off the highway. check the code with the ezlynk pod. Took a screenshot of the codes, cleared codes. Continue driving, codes did not return. Spoke to tech-support when I got home. They told me I was driving the truck wrong after the tune so I did the transmission relearn in my driveway. followed the instructions, have not had the issue since has been about 600 miles of driving. Tech-support was amazing. Tyson was great. Tyson Also followed up later on to see how things are going. where can you find that kind of customer service anymore?

Tom was awesome

Tom was awesome. I had some questions to make sure I had everything before I started my delete. I asked if I needed a cable from the tuner to the block and I asked if I'm the EZLink I could clear my check engine lights and he told me yes it does. He researched if I needed a cable and he let me know that for my 2014 RAM I do not need a cable just use the EZLINK. Tom also asked if I received my shift on the fly switch and I told him I hadn't, he was getting with the warehouse to get it shipped to me. Tom also instructed me I could go ahead and upload the time and remove my exhaust and do the EGR delete and install the switch later. Thank you Tom your awesome!

It’s been about 6 weeks since deleted my trk, 21 ram 2500 the diesel dudes kit has been great. I did have a few questions when installing but Tyson helped me through it. My questions were asked promptly. If I where gonna purchase another kit I would definitely order it with the full exhaust instead of the delete pipe just my preference

If you’re looking to delete and tune your vehicle the diesel dudes is the way to go. My buddy runes the diesel dudes tunes and I was beyond jealous. I’ve had a deleted truck for years and was never satisfied! No smoke, no good MPG, tunes always felt weak or never felt the difference between tune 1 and 5. I don’t even have the diesel dudes tunes loaded yet and I already know all of those will greatly improve. Could be better

Dpf delete pipe fitment was not good. Had to reshape hangers. Still bolted up to down pipe crooked, but its not leaking so I guess that's good enough. Had to make a trip to the parts store for a 3/8-3/8 hose connector for the egr delete because a 1/4-1/4 connector was supplied with the kit to connect two 3/8 coolant lines.

Everything arrived safely and in a timely manner.
Very easy to install with EZlink auto agent. Today will be my longest trip with the installation around 500 miles will report back after this long trip. So far seems to be working fine. Would definitely recommend to others that are interested in installing this kit. Tunes seam to be solid and the shift on the fly to me is the way to go. But you also have the option to just load a single tune .

5” exhaust with muffler

2008 lmm I bought the efi live and 5” exhaust with muffler. The exhaust is not to bad to install but you will need to cut the exhaust to make the muffler fit correctly.one of the exhaust hangers near the spare tire is too long and is against the spare tire. Not sure how to address this at the moment.

I did a bunch of mods to my ‘12 F350. Turbo intake piping innner cooler and such. I choose Diesel Dudes for the turner and tuning. Order and delivery was flawless. I started out dumping head with Ezlink tech. I contacted DD on the website. And Bam Jami for the support team jumped right in right at closing o. A Friday. Stayed late and listen to all my concerns and by Monday morning I was getting my problems taken care of. Thank so much Jamie for stepping up and giving me true support.

Time install advice

Re Alex's phone call...Ih had just finished doing my Timer install when i recieved a call from Alex. After a review of my procedure and checking for DTC's, it was determined i was successful and could continue to hard part installs.
Customer input from me... it would be really great customer service if you provided a faster way for customers to get responses from you (the email report method is rather cumbersome when a person has dedicated time slots to do the work involved).

Dodge 6.7 diesel

Have not received the kit yet but these people really are nice and work with you to assure you get the right parts. They called me a couple times to verify that I will be getting the correct package. Customer service the way it used to be 39 years ago. Thank you all at Diesel Dudes.

Shipping issues

Had an issue with my local post office. Cynthia text me with the issue before I even knew it was a problem to correct it. Great communication. Problem should have been corrected. I will be installing full kit this week and review again once I have everything installed or should I say removed.

Flash succsessfull

I followed all procedures for flashing a duramax engine/ trans. The tune download from pc to device went well but the process was slightly different because the other company's program screen options were somewhat different but i have some limited tech experience so i figured it out. On the video for flashing the ecm with the tuner tool, the screen, options and layout were different on the other companies tool screen but in several video pauses I figured it out and between that video and the Dark Iron Diesel videos and written how-to, the flash was successful. Might be more confusing for someone else. My suggestion is to make a video with your own product screens and menus. All in all between downloading tune, programming tool, setting vehicle up for tune and the flashing process was all together under an hour. Also clearly stating to leave all emissions components hooked up accept for the throttle air valve while flashing on the written instructions and videos would help. Also cearly knowing to drive the vehicle moderately for 50 miles or doing a 50 mile relearn would be helpful. (Was wondering why the engine clattered on ecceleration and read that the transmission and engine take time to learn the new tune. Not supposed to get on it for a few miles ) Added all this to my review to help make it easier for your future customers. Thank you for this product.

Much easier than expected

I’m working 2,000 miles away from home and had to do it in the motel parking lot so they made sure that everything got to me at the motel. Easy Link was simple and tech support is top notch. I watched the Dark Iron Diesel video a few times to make sure I had the procedure down and went for it. I didn’t really know what to expect having to do it in a parking lot but their kit fit right in.

Anthony was very quick on reply for an install a shop did for me. This is second truck we have done and both installations was easy and any questions have been answered quickly.

Definitely recommend. If my fleet grows, I will be buying another kit.

In my opinion…….. this is not a job for the faint of heart. That being said Deisel Dudes helped me get through this. MANY MANY MANY thanks to TYSON for his help and support. Interactions were made through emails /which I get cause personal calls would just lead to more conversations and tied up associates talking about all kind of personal crap. I’m sure they will also call and walk you through any issues. But with TYSONS help I got it done, MYSELF , in my barn, on my back .I did the full deleate including a 5” exhaust with muffler. Everything was included . The auto Lynk worked well. There something about ripping apart your expensive pride and joy to put it on a diet. Which is what makes it not for the faint of heart. But I got it done and TYSON was there for me and responded in a timely
manor. Going through the breakin/relearn now.

Makes huge difference

These tuners are legit, and definitely worth it! I had some minor initial issues on one of my trucks, but the Dudes fixed it, and all is well. My trucks are currently running better than ever!
