Easy Peezy

Had the bdx tuner and hardware for about a month waiting for the heat wave to drop in the 90's. The install was easy I did it by myself but keep in mind you need tools and mechanical skill. The programing was easy no hicups at all works perfect, all the parts fit as they should and had the entire job done with in 8 hours. I would suggest getting a small come along wrap it around the dpf and the frame wiggle lower and shabang its out. Excellent product will recommend.

Well Worth It!

I ordered the full delete w/EFI Live, 4” w/muffler as well as the EGR delete and throttle body delete. Money well spent! Performance is better, fuel economy is better, sound great (sounds deeper and throatier with only a small increase in volume) and, best of all, no more worries about failed DPF and the resulting limp mode and $$$$.

My only complaints / suggestions would be better instructions. Yes, they include links to videos that are on You-Tube and they are probably adequate but pictures and instructions would be helpful. I unplugged two sensors I shouldn’t have but figured it out. Pics could have prevented that. Finally, help from the tuners took 2 days. I needed a tune revision because the original didn’t work. It took 2 days to get. Had a problem with a code after the tunes loaded, two days later still no reply. I figured it out on my own but when you are in the middle of a project and your truck is O/S, ya kinda expect prompt assistance. The replies from The Diesel Dudes were immediate but the tuners they rely on could do better. I realize I’m probably nitpicking but I had to because the experience overall was very good. I would absolutely buy from them again!

2018 ram 3500 dually

After deleting my 1 ton I’ve already noticed the fuel mileage increase from avrg 10.4 mpg to 16 mpg @65 mph. My rear end is geared at 3.73, Aisin transmission. I’m running a banks ram air cold air intake, charge tube upgrade, throttle valve delete, grid heater delete, 33X12.5 mud tires. 4” Straight pipe. If you’re mechanically capable, the install wasn’t bad to install. My rig finally hauls ass now! I would suggest a muffler tho, she is loud! Customer support was awesome with the questions I had. Installed tune and exhaust myself. Only wish delete pipe included rear clamp had to go buy one. Tune had an issue with the vgt brake, contacted GDP got a new tune in minutes. Overall happy.

sounds great just needs more hangers added

the pipes fit perfectly and sound awesome, only thing is it needs more hangers. after install i noticed the pipe vibrating pretty hard and vibrating inside the cab. after doing some research found that it just needed more hangers to support the weight of the new pipes. was also some damage from shipping but with a some work using a hammer and handle from a screw drive i was able to straighten it out. otherwise it sounds amazing and truck is running smoother now and breathing easier. add more hanger to mount into stock hanger locations and problem solved.

I found you guys from a YouTube video while doing some researching on deletes. The interview with the owner answered all my questions. Ive had my 17’ 3500 for 2 years, I’ve put 85k miles on it so far (208k in total). Ive had 2 major repairs on it and the first one being 6k at the dealership, a bunch of egr issues. Long story short I’ve had a check engine light on for a nox sensor that i replace and some manifold sensor and a loose egr valve that I couldn’t get to without removing a bunch of stuff. I replaced a bunch of sensors, the check engine light never went off. I deleted the truck and my truck is fixed now. No check engine and it run better than its ever have since I’ve owned it.

So far so good I'm still a little confused on how to utilize the shift on the fly switch.love the performance so far but the cost was a little excessive it was confusing at least to me I had no problems with the download or under carriage work but was happy in the end. I still need to talk to someone to get things clarified but I think I understand how it works

I wish they would’ve either put the trans tune with all the tunes that was on the ez lynk or sent a trans tune . Stinks to spend that much money to only be able to use 1 tune .

Missing part?!?!

well, yesterday night, I got my “kit” in but it wasn’t a full kit or I’m just really blind. All I got was my exhaust and my EGR delete I cannot find my tuner anywhere don’t get me wrong. Everything looks really good but how do you forget the most important part of the kit so now I have to wait till Monday for them to respond back to me and this is my only day off for about two more weeks and I was going to put it on today so diesel dudes This is the only complaint I have.

Super simple to install!

The installation was easier than expected. I did the EGR and full exhaust by myself over the course of a weekend. Everything fit perfectly and all of the parts were plug and play. I'm very happy with the results.

Everything was great except the exhaust pipe was about two inches too long had to cut it off to make it fit

Outstanding customer support and products.

I purchased efi live on the autocal and was nervous about spending that much money and if the efi live was going to work for me. I previously had a mini maxx and it worked good but I wanted some better tuning. I am so glad I went with what I did, the tuning is everything I had hoped for and the customer service is outstanding. I received the tuner in like 2 days which I was amazed and I asked if I could get a single tow tune after purchasing the sotf software and the next day there it was waiting for me in an email. They provided very detailed instructions on how to load it and I had no problem adding it on to the auto cal. I just can't thank them enough for everything they have done for me and the phenomenal support. Thanks again.

2018 Cummins full delete

Everything came bolted on nice and smooth programming was fairly easy all in all a decent easy process to delete it yourself. Don’t spend the money and pay Shop to do it if you don’t need to. One thing I might suggest I ordered mine without the muffler I probably will put them other on because it is a beast right now.

These tuner has been everything I wanted and more.
It’s easy to use and switch tunes on the fly, the truck runs amazing on all the tunes could not be happier.

Fits snug. Wish it came with more hardware

So this looks pretty basic you get 1 downpipe and 1 dpf delete pipe with only 1 hanger hook on it along with only one exhaust band to join the two. The hanger hook was way too long and would not fit. I had to cut it to make fit. Next you need to reuse the muffler hardware band...easier said then done when it's a pile of rust. The downpipe colar is much thicker then stock so reusing that band definitely requires 2 sets of hands but doable. Overall it sounds great was able to do in a single afternoon with my 5 year old son. If I were going to do it again I would buy the whole exhaust kit to save some headache from trying to reuse the old hardware.

I was using a different tune for the last couple of years. I'm really happy that I made the switch to GDP. Better shifting and much smoother acceleration. Well worth the cost. Everything I purchased from The diesel Dudes fit perfectly.

Efi autocal v3

Love the delete on my 2016 3500 6.6l highcountry. I have it tuned with the autocal and SOTF and i love it Although I don’t really feel any difference in the modes besides maybe A little more acceleration but the truck is bone stock so maybe that has something to do with it. Other than that I absolutely love it and so happy I chose the diesel dudes to get my autocal through. Would highly recommend the diesel dudes. They reply back to emails and all of your questions you may have.

WORKED GREAT, EASY INSTAL

So relieved!

It was exactly as easy as they said it would be. Installed the tune with no issues. Unplugged accessories according to instructions. A COUPLE button clicks did not match up with exactly what was on the instructions, but easy enough to figure out. When it finished, I unplugged it and started the truck. Ran great! Cut out the exhaust and def fluid tanks, installed the straight pipe... I FULLY expected to need a muffler, but, it is quiet inside the cab despite the straight pipe. Havent driven it far, but fuel economy went form 14.4 to 20 mpg. I also did not install the switch to bump up HP, do not need it, and it would be very tempting.... So it is better off staying in the box. Overall? It was so easy and straight forward that I HAVE to recommend it. No more being stranded 900 miles from home when the emission system decides to limit my speed.

Clean tunes

Had no issues with the efi live on 2015 LML, once I followed the directions. The guys at diesel dudes were easy to get ahold of and were able to answer all questions I had. Tunes are clean and have had zero issues after tuning.

Plugged in and needed update. It connected to my Wi-Fi and updated in a couple minutes. Fired up and no lights on dash. Currently on #3 street tune and have 600 miles. Love it and the sound is great too. No muffler.

Very Happy, no problems

2020 Ram with EFI Live, no muffler. I already had a gateway bypass installed so did not have to do that. Did have to trim about 4 inches off one pipe, very easy with a sawsall. Much easier if you jack up the truck. Probably the hardest part is prying off the rubber isolaters even after a liberal application of WD-40. Great people to deal with. I have 2019 that I will probably fix too.

Perfect fit! Great sound!

I just got the full kit installed over the weekend. I was honestly surprised at how easy the installation was. Everything slipped into place with minimum hassle. The sound with the inline muffler is just loud enough to give it a growl, but not so loud that it wakes up the neighbors when I start it up in the morning. Definitely happy with the purchase.

I have a 2018 ram 2500, the shipping was pretty good. Took about a week to get the tuner but they over nighted it to me. The tunes on the truck are super clean and have great power. Really woke the truck up. It’s also on 37inch tires, and pulling about 17-18.5 on the highway at 80!

Exhaust system.

If I had to complain about anything it would be that instructions while a little vague on where to cut it.
But if you mark it up and pay attention to what you're doing everything falls right into place.
The system fits terrific like it was made for the truck from the factory so I would have to say it's a very good product. Also sounds great with the muffler not much different than the factory exhaust and that's what I wanted a quiet truck not a lot of noise.

THEY SHOULD PROVIDE BETTER HARDWARE, SPECIFICALLY THE HEATER HOSE CONNECTION, UNFORTUNATELY BLEW OFF ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER TEST DRIVE. SUGGEST USING GM PART NUMBERS AND REFERENCING HIGHER QUALITY HARDWARE. OTHER THAN THAT, CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT AND QUICK WITH RESPONSES. SHOULD HAVE HIGHER QUALITY PICTURES IN INSTALL KIT. GREAT COMPONENTS OUTSIDE OF HARDWARE

Great kit to replace what you need to

I bought this after getting a check engine light and couldn't be happier. The kit came with everything I needed and after watching some YouTube videos, it was simple and straight forward on how to do it. The only thing I should've done is bought the muffler with the kit. I installed it without it at first and it was too loud for my neighborhood. It sounded amazing but my neighbors wouldn't be to happy with it at 4am. I contacted them about ordering a muffler and they sent it right away with no issues after I paid. Install for that was maybe 20 minutes and I couldn't be happier. Cab drone with the muffler is little to none and it's not too loud anymore. If you're looking for more power, this will also help a lot. The pedal response after installing was amazing. The shifting was also on point and so much smoother than factory. If you're getting the same check engine light that I had or just looking for a better running diesel, get this and let your engine breath.
