2018 F150 3.0 Powerstroke

Everything came quick and as expected. I had an issue with the exhaust not fitting due to my truck being a long bed. I was admittedly very frustrated but Tyson from customer service was fantastic. We eventually got it resolved but recommend reaching out prior to purchasing if you have a non standard bed.

Flawless installation and the quality of the components is top notch.
My only complaint has to do with the supplied hose clamps for the coolant bypass, i was able to use the stock clamp on the tank but had to source a smaller clamp for the bypass fitting, supplied clamps much to big.

EGR removal

I was wondering if I needed to remove my EGR or simply disconnect. Tyson was able to answer my question promptly and accurately.

As everyone knows, the ram eco diesel from the factory is gutless. It was almost dangerous try to accelerate getting on the interstate and yes it would get over 30mpg if you stayed under 65 mph. Biggest problem being that it was chocked to death.That all changed drastically after I did the diesel Dudes delete and tune. It took some searching to get the right ECM and TCM combination. But it was simple to do and now that little turbo diesel is impressive, no problems getting on the interstate as it accelerates nicely, and know problem passing. I can still get up to 30mpg on the interstate and I averaged 25mpg. I would like to thank Casey for all the help. The back and forth communication was fast. Top notch customer support.

Overall happy with the product, the tech support was awesome, Casey was excellent with getting back to me on any questions I had.

All installed and works fine, just some tips for buyers

The truck i worked on did not utilize the brass union or coolant hose provided, which was not a big deal because the iron diesel video shows the way to do it. However, the second thing is the vacuum cap on both the written instructions and iron diesel video show the cap going at the vacuum line where it ended at the egr cooler, I found that the cap does not fit well towards the egr cooler end, but if you remove the line completely, it fits extremely well over the nipple where the line gets completely removed. That being said, it all went together well, not all pieces needed, the buying guild said that it comes with 4 tunes but down below it shows 5 tunes when buying the bdx. Tune installed fine all

The parts all fit great. EZ Lynk was very easy to use. Truck runs great with +70hp tune. EZ Lynk includes higher HP tunes but this is for a daily driver work truck. The only problem was broken egr pipe to manifold bolts breaking. Even after a week of soaking with penetrating oil. Get a Promaxx egr repair kit just in case. Restock used parts and sell it to the next 6.7 guy.

Why did I Wait?

Huge shoutout to John and his team at The Diesel Dudes for helping me get my 2017 F350 set up right. I honestly wish I would’ve done this years ago.

This truck is a completely different animal now. I went with the shift-on-the-fly kit and the 5” exhaust with muffler, and the difference is unreal. Setting 5 is absolutely insane — they claim a 230 HP gain and I 100% believe it. It’s honestly borderline scary how hard this thing pulls now. Since I tow heavy trailers most of the time, I usually keep it on level 2 or 3, which is perfect for daily use and towing.

The power delivery is smoother, throttle response is night-and-day better, fuel mileage improved, the truck sounds amazing, and best of all… the transmission finally shifts the way it SHOULD have from the factory. No more shift lag, weird hunting, or lazy shift points. Reprogramming the transmission made a massive difference.

I genuinely feel like I bought a brand-new truck.

Only downside? It smells like a diesel now. But honestly… it IS a diesel, so I guess that comes with the territory. Might as well embrace it.

My son and I installed everything ourselves in about 4 hours. We didn’t even remove all the emissions equipment under the hood — we simply unplugged components, changed the exhaust, and loaded the tuning and transmission programming.

If I ever buy another diesel truck, I would purchase from Diesel Dudes again in a heartbeat. Excellent product, excellent support, and a company that actually answers questions and takes care of people.

The tune was super easy (I opted for SOF mode) The kit was complete and everything fit as advertised. Don't forget to tighten the plug on the rear blocker plate, and prepare to have some cuts and scratches on the tops of your hands,,,lol" This job requires you to squeeze them between the engine and firewall "ALOT I had some questions along the way and Tyson was great at responding.. These guys are legit !

At this point I’m very happy with my Tuner and the staff. I had some strange problems come up after installation and John was extremely helpful even though at the time nothing made sense. What originally appeared to be a tuner issue ended up being sensor issues covered up by my old HS XRT Pro tuner. I worked through the problems keeping John in the loop until all issues were corrected and we knew for sure the tuner was fine and operating normally.

it's been a good experience so far except the exhaust didn't quite line up/match up. I luckily had a piece of 4" pipe left over from a previous exhaust job on another truck. I had to go to Harbor Freight and spend &139.00 on a exhaust expander but I'm sure it'll get used again.
