I've never done anything like this before and with dark iron diesels content on YouTube I was able to do it myself I've never messed with diesels and his videos made it easy. 2020 Ford 6.7 Powerstoke improved performance and excellent mpg

Following is an email I wrote to Jake on May 31, 2026 and he recommended me share my review on their Website so people have real life reviews of how their trucks are performing after the installation:

Hi Jake,
I wanted to reach out and express how impressed I am with the performance of my 2020 F-450 Limited since installing your Full Delete Bundle.

Last Saturday, I took the truck on a road trip from Concord, CA, to Gardnerville, NV. I make this 400-mile round trip several times a year and typically average between 16.8 and 17 mpg, especially since I tend to have a heavy foot and usually cruise at 75 mph. On this trip, I was amazed to see an average of 21.9 mpg, and even hit 30 mpg on a downhill stretch.

I’ve attached photos of my fuel history and instrument gauges for your reference. After driving from Gardnerville to Lodi (about 120 miles), the truck calculated 1,017 miles to empty. By the time I arrived back in Concord, it still showed 902 miles to empty. For context, I had the SOTF switch in the second position.

Please feel free to share my experience with others. To anyone considering this upgrade, my only advice is: do it!

The instructions are difficult to try and follow, maybe make an updated video for 25+ year models. No where in the description does it say the pipe needs to be trimmed, not a huge deal but would have saved me some time with the install knowing that first. The truck sounds great with the 5” exhaust, once i figured out where everything went it installed easily. I did not have to modify the o er tje axel part like the video said you might need too.

Good customer service but the instructions were not great. I had to YouTube and Google someone the installation process.it was partially my fault for not checking, however the kit did not mention that I had to reuse the last pipe after my muffler. Just inconvenient, I wish I paidmore attention before disregarding the old exhaust.

The pieces fit as they should and im still glad I went with diesel dudes.
Just lay attention to the package you bought.

I recently purchased a delete kit and priority processing from The Diesel Dudes, and I have to say, I’m genuinely impressed with the entire experience.

Before placing my order, I called with several questions, and the staff was extremely helpful. They took the time to walk me through everything in detail so I felt like I was making a very informed decision rather than just being sold something. That level of customer service goes a long way with me.

The kit arrived in excellent condition, which is clearly a combination of good packaging from Diesel Dudes and careful handling by UPS. I placed my order Friday night, and to my surprise, I received a call Saturday morning letting me know about the option for priority processing. Normally, I’m skeptical of those kinds of add-ons because they often feel like a sales gimmick, and I almost passed on it. But I decided to give it a shot.

To my surprise, some of my order had already shipped by Monday. Two additional shipments went out the following day, and everything arrived by Friday. That’s impressive turnaround time, especially for a multi-shipment order. Well done.

As far as installation and programming, everything was very straightforward. I’ve seen some online complaints about communication and response times, but in my experience, if you follow their instructions and open a support ticket properly, they absolutely get back to you. First off I'm not a mechanic, the instructions provided via YouTube were very helpful. The tuning process was very smooth. The exhaust portion required me cutting off approximately 5inches to fit perfect. The truck's performance, mileage and most of all transmission tuning has made my truck a joy to drive! The transmission prior to the tune was all over the place for shifting up or down. The transmission now shifts thru all the gears (10) and there's no more guessing what it's going to do next! Thank you!

Guys at diesel dudes are great to deal with. I did a full delete on my 2013 Ram Cummins after I ended up replacing my old motor because of Egr emissions related issues and number 6 cylinder went down. The tuning was spot on with no codes so far. I had to wait for about 2 weeks for a chance to get it installed but it was well worth it. Still need to get with diesel dudes about my water in fuel sensor not reading. But the fuel mileage is up about 3 miles per gallon. Thanks guys for a great job on my tune. Truck is way better than it was. Fun to drive again

Throttle delay

I was having a bad throttle delay in my duramax . I contacted John and he walked me through a couple options to try and resolve the issue. After trying a few things the issue was still present . John got to working on finding a solution for me. Long story short, I just needed to update my firmware. John was exceptional fast with getting my problem resolved . 2020 F-250 Power Stroke.

Hey Jake I purchased your delete kit about a year ago. It came with the SCT tuner and 4" exhaust with muffler. I was real busy and had some delays on installing it but finally got it fully deleted and installed S&b cold air intake and cold pipe from inter cooler. I am running the SOTF tune set on the number 3 setting and getting over 22 mpg. on the highway at 72 mph. very happy!! keep up the good work.

Priority Processing

2010 LMM

Just want to say that I used this company twice for both of my LML & LMM trucks. Not a mechanic at all and I got through both installs and both trucks have never run better with very little no issues at all. With that being said I purchased my bundle for my 2010 LMM in Jan of 2024. I’ve been driving that truck since then with the speedometer off by anywhere between 5 sometimes 10 mph difference and it get worse the faster I drove. So I decided to reach out again to customer support and just ask if there was a way for them research or find out if my tune was off a little and if it was could we correct it. So the morning Casey gets back to me on Memorial Day weekend non the less and tells me that he will get with the people who designed the tune and an investigate the issue for me. So the next day Casey gets back to me and tells me that they designed a new tune for me and send me all new instructions and videos on how to reinstall the new tune. No extra fees or hundreds in additional costs here you go. In less then an hour mostly due to the slow computer I have the AutoCal was updated and loaded with the new tune. A couple of clicks and the tune installed without any issues and completely resolved my speedometer issue and the whistle sounded even better and smoothed out the transmission shift points as well. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase from and 2 years ago later the revised tune for free that made everything even better. Casey was amazing and extremely helpful and I definitely recommend using this company if you are looking to improve your Diesel truck performance and reliability. I can’t that Diesel Dudes enough and Casey especially for even talking to me two years after the fact and resolving my issues. Thank you

Fully deleted Ecodiesel

Tyson was amazing to work with from start to finish! 80+ emails on the 1st ever fully deleted 2021 Wrangler with a Banks Aluminum Intake manifold. Banks said it wouldn't fit or work, well they know now that it does. Tyson and the Diesel Dudes team were awesome to work with. Their communication was one of the best I have ever worked with ever.
