Ram 5th gen

The install was pretty easy but the rear part of the exhaust had to be trimmed. No big deal. My only complaint is the transmission shifting. 3rd to 4th is really harsh in tow haul mode and shifts way too soon. I have to manually shift while towing my to hauler. I have tried a couple different tunes and completed the relearn cycle each time with the same result. I have a brand new 68rfe installed by the dealer 5000 miles ago so I know it’s nothing in the transmission. Shifts fine without tow haul mode on.

Best thing that happened to that truck

As I’m sure you know that model year is plagued with issues around pollution control components on the 6.7 Cummins. On top of that everything is extremely expensive.
The power increase on the lowest setting is remarkable. Add the fuel mileage increase , I’m kicking myself for not doing this years ago.
Finally something that lives up to the hype. Thanks and kudos to your whole organization.

In my EGR‑deleted 2015 F‑350, I was consistently encountering a low fuel pressure code whenever I towed my fifth‑wheel RV. The tune I had installed at the time clearly wasn’t handling the load properly. I reached out to John at Diesel Dudes, and he was more than willing to help troubleshoot the issue and point me in the right direction.
After placing my order and providing my VIN, the EZ Lynk arrived about a week. I was honestly a bit nervous about overwriting my existing tune, as I didn’t want to create new issues or complicate things further. Those concerns quickly disappeared once I started the installation process. The EZ Lynk system is extremely user‑friendly, and the instructions were clear and straightforward.
I started by installing the first tune, and it became immediately apparent how easy EZ Lynk has made the tuning process. From there, I decided to try the HISS tune to hear the difference, and switching between tunes was quick and seamless. There was no guesswork involved, which was a big relief.
A few days later, I installed the SOTF (Shift‑On‑The‑Fly) switch that I had also purchased. The installation itself was simple, and surprisingly, the most difficult part of the entire process was deciding where to mount the switch inside the cab.
Overall, I’ve been very impressed with the EZ Lynk tuner. It delivers a straightforward, reliable tuning experience without unnecessary complexity. Combined with the excellent customer support from John at Diesel Dudes, it made resolving my issue far less stressful than I anticipated.

Ram Ecodiesel

I installed a full Dieseldudes delete on 2018 Ram Ecodiesel. The installation was fairly straight forward however I was not seeing any improvement in fuel economy following the full delete. As such I reached out and submitted a ticket to figure out which tune would be the best option for my truck. After trying a few different tunes we settled on a 20HP tune. Shortly thereafter my engine suffered a catastrophic failure. I have a feeling the engine failure is partially related to the tune and the various tunes attempted. My feedback with dieseldudes would be to improve communication options to include communicating with customers via phone calls and or teams meetings to solve issues and improve the quality of the product. Throughout the process the support from Tyson has been much appreciated.

My Truck Is Now Awesome!

Apparently thedieseldudes ran into ECM supply problems because the ECM took a month to get to me. They sent plenty of emails to keep me in the loop while I waited. My 5" exhaust came with some shipping damage so I had to spend some hammer time on 2 of the pipes to get them to fit the other pipes. I have a mega cab and regular bed and had to cut 10" or so off 1 of the exhaust pipes. The exhaust sounds great but you may want to get an exhaust tip so it looks better. I left the EGR installed but unplugged because it looks better. I plan to remove EGR when I install the Banks ram air intake once my checking account allows. Tuner threw the 14101 error. I followed instructions and entered service code 6625 but got a 14076 unable to connect to ECM error. I disconnected the batteries for 20 minutes and tried again and it worked fine. +4mpg on level 1, +2mpg on level 3. Level 3 is very peppy and a little smoke when I kick it. I should have done this years ago.

Pretty simple install on a 6.7. It took about 5 hours and I wasn’t in a hurry. Just watch the videos. I only have a few miles on it thus far. I ordered the 4” with a muffler. It’s not any louder than stock but it definitely sounds better.

2nd review first one was about the delivery and how awesome John was helping me get it. This one is on the product. The EGR,DPF when I open the boxes no instructions 1. I guess someone forgot to put it in the box but luckily I know vehicles and I used common sense to get the job done(if your looking at buying this kit dont worry im just unlucky) and theres youtube videos online that would help DarkIron diesel is pretty good with his videos on how too i had to use his video for tips for the DPF removal. 2. The EGR bolts was alittle too long for my aftermarket intake manifold so I took a grinder and grinder bout 1/4 inch off so it wouldn't bottom out and leave a small gap at the top of the EGR. Only 2 problems with the kit. I would have loved if the kit came with a little tiny tube of lock tight but I had some in my shop. I do love how the EGR is Blank blocker plate has a cleaner look than other manufacturers offer. And the Ez Lynk is a awesome tuner my first SOTF disclaimer for any customers this goes for any custom tunes that do ECM changes let your truck learn it for a couple hundred Ez lynk suggestion is minimum of 200miles for the ecm to learn and recommend of 500miles if you got a ECM reprogrammed at the dealership they recommend 150 miles but 200-500miles is okay best honestly. The tune feels amazing just the transmission shifts kinda rough after a bit of driving that might work its self out with the TCM relearning the tune.so if you dont like the rough shifting should pick a tune without TCM tune. With that all said I am happy with the program. Overall 8/10 on diesel dudes product and 10/10 on the tuner.

So the only reason Diesel, dude’s full delete kit is getting fourstars and not five is for three reasons. The first is the price $2500 for a full delete kit without a muffler was a lot of money, second the five position rotary switch has plastic threads on it and it literally will not tighten before it strips out making me have to superglue it to keep it in place which works but for $2500 you think they would have a better switch, and third they don’t really explain the tunes very well like what each position does and how the tune is formatted for your transmission…now that being said it is by far the best kid on the market and I highly recommend for anybody wanting a fantastic set up. This is the one to get paired with a bank‘s monster ram!!!
